If your organization uses smartcard or badge authentication, your badge must be registered with your ESPM account.

If your badge is not registered, the printer may display a message asking whether you want to register it as a new card.

To register your badge:

1. Tap or swipe your badge at the printer’s card reader.

2. When prompted to register a new card, select Yes.

3. Enter your MFD User ID and MFD Password.

4. Select Register.

5. Confirm the successful registration message.

If registration fails, contact your ESPM administrator to verify that smartcard authentication is enabled and your account credentials are correct.
