Keeping your billing contact information current helps ensure invoices, account notices, and billing questions reach the right person at your organization.

You can update your billing contact by emailing your MCC sales representative, calling MCC’s main number, or submitting a request through the online contact form.

What Information Can Be Updated?

You may need to update your billing contact when:

  • A new employee takes over accounts payable
  • Your current billing contact leaves the organization
  • An employee changes roles or departments
  • Your billing email address changes
  • Invoices should be sent to a different person or location
  • Your company changes its billing address or phone number
  • You need to add an additional billing contact

Billing contact updates may include:

  • Contact name
  • Job title or department
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Billing address
  • Invoice delivery preferences
  • Accounts payable contact information

Option 1: Email Your MCC Sales Representative

You can email your MCC sales representative and ask them to update your billing contact information.

In your message, include:

  • Business name
  • Account number, if available
  • Current billing contact information
  • New billing contact information
  • Effective date of the change
  • Any additional billing instructions

Your sales representative will route the update to the appropriate MCC team.

Option 2: Call MCC

You can also call MCC’s main number and request a billing contact update.

When calling, provide:

  • Business name
  • Your name and contact information
  • Current billing contact, if known
  • New billing contact’s name
  • New email address and phone number
  • Billing address, if it is changing

If your company has multiple locations or accounts, be sure to specify which account or location the change applies to.

Option 3: Submit the Online Contact Form

You can submit a billing contact update through MCC’s online contact form.

Include:

  • Business name
  • Your contact information
  • Account number, if available
  • Current billing contact
  • New billing contact
  • Updated email address and phone number
  • Any address changes
  • Date the update should take effect

Clearly state that the request is for a billing contact update so it can be routed correctly.

What If the Previous Billing Contact Is No Longer Available?

You do not need access to the previous billing contact’s email account to request an update.

Provide the former contact’s name, if known, along with the new contact information and your relationship to the account. MCC may contact your organization to verify the change if additional confirmation is needed.

When Should You Submit the Update?

Submit billing contact changes as soon as possible, especially before:

  • An employee leaves the organization
  • A new accounts payable contact takes over
  • Your billing address changes
  • A contract or service agreement renews
  • Your next invoice is issued

Updating the information early helps prevent invoices from going to the wrong inbox, which is where invoices go to develop abandonment issues.
