For integrated Scan to Self and Scan to Address Book workflows, scanned documents are temporarily processed in the configured data region and delivered by email.

After a successful email send, the scanned files are deleted from temporary storage. They are not persistently retained by the integrated scan-to-email service.

For Scan to OneDrive, documents are uploaded to the user’s configured OneDrive destination and are subsequently subject to the organization’s Microsoft OneDrive storage and retention settings.
